Our Tiny Dance class is designed for our youngest dancers ages 1.5 to 2. During the class, children work on locomotor skills, basic dance movements, flexibility, strengthening, music and rhythm, spatial awareness, coordination, listening, imagination and creative movement. Use of age appropriate activities, games, music and props are utilized to creative a fun and exciting class for your young dancer.

Dress Code: Any color leotard, biketard, or fitted shirt and shorts. No un-attached ballet skirts. Pink ballet tights, leather ballet shoes or barefoot.

Creative Movements

Our Creative Movements class is for dancers age 2 to 3. During the class, children work on locomotor skills, basic dance movements and positions, flexibility, strengthening, music and rhythm, spatial awareness, coordination, listening, imagination and creative movement. Use of age appropriate activities, games, music and props are utilized to creative a fun and exciting class for your young dancer.

Dress Code: Any color leotard, biketard, or fitted shirt and shorts. No un-attached ballet skirts. Pink ballet tights and leather ballet shoes.

Pre-Dance Combination

Our pre-dance classes include, ballet, tap and jazz for the dancer ages 4 to 6. The class is designed to be the perfect introduction to dance for young dancers. During the class, equal time is shared for 2 dance disciplines. Basic dance terminology, positions, movement, flexibilty, and musical awareness are explored while using age appropriate music, dance and lessons to hold interest. This class is the foundation of the child's dance education.

Dress Code: Any color and style leotard or biketard. No un-attached ballet skirt. Ballet/Jazz - Pink tights & Pink leather ballet shoes. Jazz shoes are not required. Ballet/Tap - Any color tights with pink leather ballet shoes and black buckle tap shoes. (No tie tap shoes.)

Intro to Dance

Our intro to ballet and jazz are for beginning dancers ages 6 to 8. It follows the same principle as the pre-dance class. However, it includes a more detailed teaching to accommodate the older age and skill.

Dress Code: Any color and style leotard or biketard, short ballet skirt. Pink ballet tights and pink leather ballet shoes. Jazz shoes are not required. Ballet/Tap - Pink tights, pink leather ballet shoes, and Black buckle tap shoes. (No tie tap shoes)

Ballet

Ballet is the foundation of a strong dance technique and is recommended to all of our students. It is a classical dance form that helps to develop correct technique, posture, body alignment, control and flexibility. Ballet's structure helps build self-discipline in the student. A typical class consists of barre work, center floor work, and combinations across the floor. Pointe requires instructor approval.

Dress Code: Any color and style leotard, pink ballet tights and pink ballet slippers (canvas or leather). Split sole ballet slippers for dancers 6+. Fitted knit ballet wear is allowed (No Pants). Hair pulled away from face.

Jazz

Jazz is a form of dance that contains elements of Ballet, African Dance, and Modern. Combinations, turns, leaps, isolations, and rhythmic body movements. Fosse, Lyrical, Musical Theater are all stylized forms of Jazz dance that can be used.

Dress Code: Any color and style leotard, black or tan tights. Black fitted dance pants or fitted shorts are optional. Black slip on jazz boot (No ties).

Contemporary

A fun and innovative class for the dancer looking for a new challenge. The class combines Lyrical, Modern, and Jazz styles of dance and fuses them into this artistic and creative class. A Ballet class is required to take this class. (Except for Adults age 18+)

Dress Code: Any color and style leotard, black or tan tights. Black fitted dance pants or fitted shorts are optional. Black slip on jazz boot (No ties), Dance Paws/FootUndiez, or bare feet.

Hip Hop

Hip Hop is for anyone who loves to move. Do you want to dance like your favorite singer or like your favorite dancer in a music video? Then this is the class for you. Always fresh, upbeat, and energy filled, this class is geared to keep you moving. Using the freshest music and styles makes this class so popular.

Dress Code: Comfortable clothing - shirt, pants, shorts and/or capris (No vulgar or obscene language/images on clothing). No jeans allowed. Black dance sneaker or any white soled sneaker. NO STREET SHOES ALLOWED!

Tap

Tap dancing is focused on rhythm and sound. In class, students work on their timing, clarity, balance, coordination and intricate rhythms.

Dress Code: Any color and style leotard, black or tan tights. Black fitted dance pants or fitted shorts are optional. Black buckle tap shoe for children. Black Capezio CG55 for older students.

Cheer

Our cheer class is for students age 6+. Basic cheer technique is taught including movement, arm placement, jumps, voice, facial expressions, stunting, and overall routine execution.

Dress Code: Comfortable clothing - shirt, pants, shorts and/or capris. Any white soled sneaker. NO JEANS AND STREET SHOES ALLOWED!
