Miss Kelsey's Dance Studio

Miss Kelsey started dancing at the age of three under the direction of Jim Caisse and is trained in all dance disciplines including Tap, Hip-Hop, Jazz, Modern, Ballet and Pointe. Miss Kelsey has performed and competed in Bermuda, New York City, Las Vegas, Mexico and aboard the Norwegian Majesty and Enchanted Isle cruise ships.

Miss Kelsey is a graduate of Dean College having earned a degree in dance. She is also a certified member of Dance Educators of America (DEA) as well as the Boston Dance Alliance. Her dance accomplishments include: multi-Platinum Award Winner for her many dance solos in various competitions. She was also crowned with a national title from DEA in Las Vegas. She is a five-time DEA Scholarship Award Winner as well as a six-time Special Judge's Award Winner including "Broadway Bound", "Best Look", “High Energy" and "Intricate Rhythms" Awards.

Miss Kelsey obtained her Dance Teacher Certification through Dance Educators of America's Teacher Certification Program at the University of Las Vegas, Nevada. She continues to keep her skills current by attending workshops with the talents of the New York City Rockettes and such dance notables as Mia Michaels and Shane Sparks (of the So You Think You Can Dance fame), Al Gilbert, Henry LeTang, Frank Hatchett, Joe Istre, Jermaine Brown, Pam Bolling, Juan Sanchez and many others.

Most recently, Miss Kelsey has taught in Massachusetts and locally. Her competition choreography has been award winning. Miss Kelsey is always working to provide the latest, most innovative and exciting choreography.

Miss Courtney - Instructor/Choreographer

Miss Kelsey's Dance Studio welcomes Courtney Gagne to our teaching staff. She is 21 years of age and has been dancing since the age of 3 and competing in dance competitions since the age of 4.

Courtney began her training with Dance Works Unlimited in Manchester, NH and then tranferred to the Lisa Pilato Dance Center in Dracut, MA where she trained for 9 years. Courtney attended Dean College in Franklin, MA and graduated in 2007 with an Associates Degree in Dance. She has since received certification in various Child Development courses.

Courtney is the recipient of many dancing awards and titles throughout her 18+ years of dancing including "Miss Stage Presence," two "Miss Dance Ovations" titles and many special awards for her performances. She was a member of various award winning groups as well as being a soloist.

Courtney has taught and choreographed since 2005 and we are happy to have her with us!

Mr. Josh - Instructor/Choreographer

Mr. Josh is an experienced Hip Hop dancer heading our Boys Only! Hip Hop program. After his early years of training, he was the captain of his High School dance team from 2003 - 2005. After High School, he went on to complete a Dance Training School (DTS) in Pittsburgh, PA.

His performance credits include over 20 halftime and festival performances and opening for such notables as the Harlem Globe Trotters, Akon, and Ness from Making the Band.

Mr. Josh has taught for over 4 years throughout the community to aspiring dancers of all ages. We are excited to have him join our staff!
