Miss Kelsey - Owner/Artistic Director

Miss Kelsey started dancing at the age of three under the direction of Jim Caisse and is trained in all dance disciplines including Tap, Hip-Hop, Jazz, Modern, Ballet and Pointe. Miss Kelsey has performed and competed in Bermuda, New York City, Las Vegas, Mexico and aboard the Norwegian Majesty and Enchanted Isle cruise ships.

Miss Kelsey is a graduate of Dean College having earned a degree in dance. She is also a certified member of Dance Educators of America (DEA) as well as the Boston Dance Alliance. Her dance accomplishments include: multi-Platinum Award Winner for her many dance solos in various competitions. She was also crowned with a national title from DEA in Las Vegas. She is a five-time DEA Scholarship Award Winner as well as a six-time Special Judge's Award Winner including "Broadway Bound", "Best Look", “High Energy" and "Intricate Rhythms" Awards.

Miss Kelsey obtained her Dance Teacher Certification through Dance Educators of America's Teacher Certification Program at the University of Las Vegas, Nevada. She continues to keep her skills current by attending workshops with the talents of the New York City Rockettes and such dance notables as Mia Michaels, Brian Freidman, Dave Scott, Napoleon & Tabitha, Wade Robson and Shane Sparks (of the So You Think You Can Dance fame), Al Gilbert, Henry LeTang, Frank Hatchett, Joe Istre, Jermaine Brown, Pam Bolling, Juan Sanchez and many others.

Most recently, Miss Kelsey has taught in Massachusetts and locally in New Hampshire. Her competition choreography has been award winning. Miss Kelsey is always working to provide the latest, most innovative and exciting choreography.

Miss Courtney - Instructor

Courtney Gagne is 23 years of age and has been dancing since the age of 3 and competing in dance competitions since the age of 4.

Courtney began her training with Dance Works Unlimited in Manchester, NH and then transferred to the Lisa Pilato Dance Center in Dracut, MA where she trained for 9 years. Courtney attended Dean College in Franklin, MA and graduated in 2007 with an Associates Degree in Dance. She has since received certification in various Child Development courses.

Courtney is the recipient of many dancing awards and titles throughout her 18+ years of dancing including "Miss Stage Presence," two "Miss Dance Ovations" titles and many special awards for her performances. She was a member of various award winning groups as well as being a soloist.

Courtney has taught and choreographed since 2005 and we are happy to have her with us again for her second season on our staff.

Miss Danielle - Instructor

Most recently, Danielle had been taking classes at Miss Kelsey's Dance Studio as well as assisting and teaching at MKDS since 2009. She is also a member of the competition team performing at local competitions.

Danielle's goals include performing around the world with a dance company, creating choreography, and continuing to teach and share her love of dance with dancers locally and all across the world.

Who We Are

Miss Kelsey's Dance Studio is a family friendly dance studio offering classes for ages 1.5 through Adults, with competitive and non-competitive programs. Our pre-school program is our most popular and fastest growing program designed to provide a safe, fun and nurturing environment for our youngest dancers to express themselves through movement while building a solid foundation for their dance education.

Our staff are the "best of the best" with extensive dance training as well as College Degrees and/or certifications in Dance to provide our students with a quality dance education. All of our staff stay current with choreography and class offerings by attending some of the best workshops dance has to offer several times a year.
